The Bluetooth module needs to power down and then back up again for the settings to take effect, this takes about 1 minute with no activity on the bus (opening doors etc).Inpa software collection does conflict with some other diagnostic software like Vida Dice (Volvo) etc. Disappointed I can't do what I originally set out to do (enable VR) but thems the breaks !! I thought as my car is a 2003 model it would have the later module? I am going to re-connect Navcoder at some point to see if I missed anything? Is there a module just for the Bluetooth?Īnyway, Navcoder and Resler work great and top marks to Jochen and Rolf. but nothing happened Its my understanding that you press and hold the button that dials numbers on the steering wheel and you should hear a tone? Anyway no tone so looks like I don't have the more recent Bluetooth module? I turned the ignition off for 15 seconds and then on and tried the Voice commands. I ticked the option for Voice Recognition and hit the 'Code' button and the settings were updated. I loaded the Telephone module and read it. There is some help info in Navcoder that I will leave to you to read before messing with your car. You will need the USB drivers for the Resler that are on Rolf Resler's site. Just to clarify, there are 4 x wires from the Resler interface - I didn't need the Green, NTSC wire and I just matched the colours: white to white, red to red (the middle wire in the plug for power) and brown to brown. The plug I purchased from the Dealer did not have any pins inside that would insert into the loom connector and so it didn't work But never mind I simply removed the new plug and stripped the ends of the wires and pushed them in manually into the loom connector (not elegant but it worked) then kept them in place with tape. I might have been missing something but the plug that comes from my cars wiring loom and connects to the CD Changer requires the female plug to have pins that stick out inside an thus insert into the loom plug when connecting. I bought the parts as kindly suggested by RichardP - the plug was the correct fitting and I was able to solder the Resler wires to the bushing contacts.

Hi all, thought I would provide an update of my experiences with the Resler interface and Navcoder.
